Can you share four significant points from the dream you had? It may be useful to note them for future reference.

Mostly gone. I think I was mostly disturbed at how hot and stuffy it was. It was claustrophobic making.

Maybe this year you can put some art on your office walls.

I'd like to put some art on my walls at home.

I thought needing 4 hours to finally fall asleep last night with a cold, fever, and nausea were bad, but I think you have me beat.

Here's hoping for a fine 2007 for the both of us. I'm glad to have found your blog last year. The forces of good have a strong ally in you.

I avoided the fever, but did go through a week of the nigh-on delirious head cold, and this may just have been an aftershock.

Me too, and thanks. I think I'm coming closer to feeling human, and that in itself is pretty amazing.

Ditto that. Also add cleaning up a doggie's accident.

Everybody poops

Sounds delicious.

Maybe not, but I have to say, the brew you did when you were out here? Freakin -awesome-. Even if I only had a taste.

Oh? Has it been officially cracked, or was Clay just making with the sampling? Does the orange come through?

I had pretty high hopes for it, what with our complete disregard of any sort of style guidelines. Do remind Klae that he's promised a bottle to the folks at the homebrew store.

He did a beer sampling this weekend, and brought a (1) bottle. The orange does come through some. It's warm and sticky and full of mmmm. I wish I could have more. :D

The 2006 First Snow is hitting secondary tonight. I went back to the lighter side of Old Ale and decided on wildflower honey to give it character. I don't know that there's enough to classify it as a braggot, but there should be enough to shine through a bit once the brew mellows a bit. I'm down to 1/2 case of the 2005, and two of those are already promised to my cheesemonger.

I need to get busy again.

I blame the parents. Where were they when this occurred?
komos From: komos Date: January 2nd, 2007 05:25 pm (UTC) (Link)
Approximately 210 miles to the north and east, though I understand that mother has developed rather profound psychic talents as a result of her work with rare botanicals.

Psychic parenting? Sounds counter to the Bible to me, Son. I'll call child protective services. They should know about your case.

The Bible also prohibits shaving and having congress with hooved animals, but that's never stopped us before.

Were you woken up by bad dreams of the imminent zombie apocalypse?
komos From: komos Date: January 2nd, 2007 08:43 pm (UTC) (Link)
That actually would have been kind of entertaining. I love a good zombie flick.

I was not aware there were other ways to start a new year. I worry when I don't have a vague sense of dread.
komos From: komos Date: January 3rd, 2007 08:13 pm (UTC) (Link)
Yeah, I benchmark at low-grade depression, so there wasn't a whole lot new there. The lack of sleep did heighten the experience, however.

Better today though.

It's a drag sometimes, but I'm through feeling guilty over it.

On another matter entirely, drop K- a line at ms_ntropy at yahoo dot com re: pursuing a museum studies degree. I finally got a chance to talk with her, and she said she'd be willing to gab about her experiences so far.

Apropos of nothing at all related to this post.

What's the best way to reach you these days?
Housewarming party at our place Saturday evening...
