Toujours nocturne - A little less than a happy high

Toujours nocturne
So here's a thing - Very early this morning (we're talking 4AM or so), I woke up to find my right arm extended and unable to move. This was not for any muscle weakness or genuine paralysis, but because the nerve in my elbow was twinged and I knew that as soon as I forced the arm to bend, I'd experience that white-hot pain that only a twinged nerve brings. I did, whimpered for a while, and cradled my arm sling-like while trying to fall back to sleep.

Worst part is, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Shortly before I woke up, I had a dream about Johanna, which I'm taking to mean that it's been far too long since we've hung out.

Yow!, you have my sympathies. I know what it's like to wake up with a charlie horse in the leg, but never anything like that the arms.

It feels like the nerve bundle has fallen out of place and then twangs back when I move the arm.

That can't be good.

Ow.

I'm so sorry.
Did you eventually fall back asleep?

Was it a dirty dream about grape squashing?

Yeah, but it's still bugging me a bit. I'm guessing there's Motrin in my future, if not a visit to the doc's.

Neither, actually. She's just on my mind.

Re: Rectify that problem

I may be in Maine visiting my clan matrons. :\

Sympathy, hope the doctor visit provides solutions.

Nothing is scheduled. I'm going to see if rest and anti-inflammatory meds help first.

Thanks, though.
