Demotivational Fortune Cookies 6
It's nice to be remembered,
but it's far cheaper
to be forgotten

While this is true if you want to be well remembered, infamy is a much better deal.

It's not tough to find someone to throw your corpse at a crowd for a few bucks and I guarantee those girl scouts will never forget your face.

Ours is not to question why.
Ours is but to horrify.

We've gotta get some business cards printed up.

Awesome. What are your plans, and do you need a place to stay?

Plans unknown, crash space probably needed, yes. :)

When I went out to dinner at that Buddhist vegetarian restaurant the other night, my friend's fortune cookie was empty. It sort of creeped me out, actually. Like, SHE HAS NO FORTUNE.

Mine said something about how my "first choice will prove to be the best one," and I couldn't figure out what first choice it was talking about, which filled me with anxiety.

What I guess I'm saying is that I don't need irony to be demotivated by fortune cookies.

I know the feeling.

Truth be known, I'm usually far more comfortable with fortunes like the ones I've collected here because I take comfort in the irony and pessimism.

Venusian Etherlines 1169 now arriving Victoria Gate

The NYT style section today has a piece on steampunk, and a slide show on 'punk gadgets and fashion. Still not sure what I think of the piece. Will need to reread.
