That used to be my answering machine message...

Loves me the Rufus.

It amazes me just how much 1970s pop culture has stuck with me, despite any effort to the contrary. This is especially true of music. I still groove to funk. I still have a soft spot for anything from Fleetwood Mac's Rumors. I still think I Feel Love is an incredibly sexy song.

I have a sickness. Why must our formative years be so much with us? ;)

Wow, the Alt-bier smells strong. I'm very much hoping that it didn't get all tainty because of something I forgot to do in my haze.

Do you normally sleep on your left? Has the bushi cut off your nipple yet?

The sausage factor is very good for you, but could be very bad for everyone else. Keep me posted.

yeah, left side always.

thus far, the nipple is still there.

Thoughts to make your eyes bleed.

It's all about appliances in avocado green and mustard yellow.

That must be it. 'Course, punk was in reaction (at least in part) to the highly engineered sounds being produced by bands like Fleetwood Mac. I seem to be happy in both worlds, though I probably would have been a dork if I had come of age at the time.

Oh, the humanity! I mean, when will muttonchops be back in style?

Wow. Think of the Plymouth Fury. And who can forget the enormous family station wagon (in avocado or mustard, of course) with the fake wood panelling?

Good times. Good times.

I wish I knew how to respond to this, but you can be sure if I figure it out, you'll be the first to know.

What??

Re: Thoughts to make your eyes bleed.

family photo album full of family in our golden mustard living room with the green fake velvet couch and the dark wood paneling (it's still there). riding around in our shit brown station wagon with the wood paneling wearing of with every greesy hand print. dad was the top of his truck pull years wearing fuzzy chops. now the red ford with 'pork farms' on the side sits in the barn covered in so many years of dust.
