A little less than a happy high

Inadvertent voyeur
Hey, do you think I should let my neighbors know that the frosted glass of their window does not afford them the privacy they believe, especially if they're planning on having hot sex in front of it?

I guess I'm fortunate in that they're good looking, at least.

you could always tape a note to the window facing in (do not tape during the sex though, they might get mad) saying "can you read me? Because I can see you!" or something. I think that would be funny, plus less embarrassing for you.

Since we're all on the second floor, that might be a little tricky. I'm not embarassed, really, but it is odd walking into my kitchen to see them and think, "Good lord, they're having the sex!"

Was a pretty awesome position, too. ;P

It's the only responsible thing to do.

In all seriousness, I think wandering into my kitchen and catching sight of them having sex is still comfortably within the realm of the morally ambiguous. Taking the next step and making a record gets me a "deviant" label.

There's another whole discussion here somewhere...

yo make it sounf like deviant is baaaad...

I wouldn't say that, but local law enforcement might.

Truth be known, I've had enough experience with the court system for one lifetime.

I'd need a golf announcer for this plan, I think.

Have more parties like Klea said.

Think of it as one good thing you got goin' for ya at this stage of the game.

And think about them, they'll be soo embarassed if you do notify them. this way their still happy.

Weren't we taught not to covet?

Good? I don't know. It ends up being a little like pr0n... Yes, it's entertaining. Yes, it's titilating. Ultimately, though, it reminds me of things that are lacking.

Re: Weren't we taught not to covet?

No

I fail moral quandries.
I'd do nothing because i'd like it somedays and aviod it others, and I'm not hurt by it.

Describe the position, it sounds like the window is educational. Like Jambi on the Pee Wee Herman Show. "Because sometimes a cowboy has big shoes, because he just has big feet."

Educational TV

I tend to err on the side of caution. When faced with a moral quandry, I will generally allow my reserve to take the fore. This is not the greatest approach to things, and has led to my passing over a great many opportunities that could have been great fun.

As for the position - standing, side entry with her leg hooked over his arm and his holding her neck with his other hand.

That's naughty.

Look at it this way if you have the party and you don't plan on them having sex, its not porn, its unexpected and naughty!

Well, I wouldn't have the party for the purpose of watching the neighbors. Still, if they decide to do their thing, it would kind of lend a hip backdrop to the whole affair.

I suppose it would be better if I were an orgy guy.

I used to live in an apartment in Cambridge that was well surrounded with buildings close by. And on three sides of the apartment there were practically regular sex shows! It was a bit distracting.

My roommates and I once had some friends over for dinner and were describing the phenomenon, when, as if on cue, a man in the neighboring apartment facing the big picture window in our dining room walked into his kitchen, took all of his clothes off, and started doing some sort of naked martial arts form. Then he tried to break a board and hurt his hand.

His upstairs neighbors used to stand naked in their kitchen window and eat ice-cream.

It's so very rare that there's enough nudity to go around.

It was uncanny. I think that area of Broadway must have been, at least at the time, a designated exhibitionist zone, and we had missed the memo.

My roommate Gretchen had the windows closest to any neighbors, so she could see people in yet another building doing naked toe-touches a scant ten feet away; downstairs from them, a neolithic-earth-mother-figured woman could be seen showering.

Needless to say, this sort of thing made us more aware of what we were doing in front of our own windows. (Although one roommate was made uncomfortable by the looks she was getting one day when she ran into a man who lived in an apartment with a good view of her room...)
