What I meant to say...

I skipped class tonight to hang out with my mom, who I see very rarely but was in town on business. Touching base with one of my folks is always a good thing, and a free No Name dinner was a decidedly welcome addition to my week. I got to hear a great deal about her new Audi, she about my discovery about MassArt. Our worlds continue to apace.

Anyway, as I went to leave, she slipped me a C-note with the condition that I buy something for myself. Now, I've bought a fair amount for myself recently, so I could just say "already done" and use it for something sensible like paying my outstanding Somerville parking fines. Or, I could embrace my heritage as a consumer and get toys.
