... i just posted a whole paragraph of how i love the way these came out and it got eaten by LJ.. so in a nutshell i wrote of how great the bowl looks - like a crisp and deep winter landscape, how the blue of the vase wonderfully compliments the earth tones of the bottom (and that it's 1/3 - 2/3 color pattern is awesome) and that the plate looks like a dollop of creme is resting there with an edging of cinnamon which is making me drool.. i love them.

don't be afraid to fire a new glaze! it's part of the fun! i love your work.

It's not so much being afraid of the new glaze as being afraid of an new glaze on a piece I'm hoping to give away. It seems like each formula has its own personality. Until you become aquainted with it, there can be weird, awkward silences and the occasional social misstep.

Thanks for taking the time to rewrite your thoughts. I love your descriptions.
