Sure thing.

a) John Hanson Mitchel, "Ceremonial Time" (I suppose it's technically not fiction, but is instead something like speculative history. It's the closest I've seen anyone come to describing how I often see place.)
b) M. F. K. Fisher, "The Art of Eating"
c) "To Have and Have Not" (1945) - Bogart & Bacall in her first film. To often overlooked in favor of that other one.
d) Edith Piaf
e) Marc Chagall (spec. his stained glass)
f) Dogfish Head, "Midas Touch</i>" (Note: Make sure you buy it in brown bottles. The earlier releases had a clear bottle that was prone to allowing light damage to the beer.)
g) Livarot with a fresh baguette and sliced anjou pears.
h) Watching interesting conversations spawn in your lj.

Re: thanks!

Hard to say really. I love a good many styles. I'm just particularly taken with washed-rind cheeses right now, and I had a particularly good wheel over the weekend. If you'd rather, I'm happy to point in a different direction...

No no... I mentioned it because I really enjoyed it. It was very cool to see it happening and to share in the exchange vicariously.
