A little less than a happy high
Technical assistance, please
Is there a way to download all of your lj entries into a searchable format? Better, is there a tool that can be used to search entries beyond the first 50?

Livejournal has been promising both of these features for about a billion years. In the meanwhile, pigs have slowly been evolving. The minute they get wings and launch into the air, I'll let you know.

There are a couple of third-party tools that are designed to download journals into XML/HTML. This one's gotten good reviews, but I haven't used it myself. Perhaps it'll be some use to you?

From what I understand, the search function would put an incredible load on their servers, and I'm not sure that they've found a way to answer that yet.

Still, it'll be nice to see some porkers airborne.

Lies! All lies, I say! ^_^

More seriously... I don't mind at all. Welcome.

Incidentally, I love them too.
