The gentleman is always properly dressed

In place of an actual entry, I will share dinner with you

Salad of bitter greens and tomatoes

Cream of asparagus soup

Poulet quarante gousses d'ail (chicken roasted with garlic and thyme)

... and of course, the house bitters.

My only regret is that I forgot to get a loaf of crusty French bread on the way home.


If there's a moral to all of this, it's that you should visit more often so's I can share.
