The gentleman is always properly dressed

Toujours nocturne

So here's a thing - Very early this morning (we're talking 4AM or so), I woke up to find my right arm extended and unable to move. This was not for any muscle weakness or genuine paralysis, but because the nerve in my elbow was twinged and I knew that as soon as I forced the arm to bend, I'd experience that white-hot pain that only a twinged nerve brings. I did, whimpered for a while, and cradled my arm sling-like while trying to fall back to sleep.

Worst part is, this isn't the first time this has happened.

Shortly before I woke up, I had a dream about Johanna, which I'm taking to mean that it's been far too long since we've hung out.

As of right now, all but one of the management-level staff are out of the office, and the one who is here is on another floor. My manager just left and advised me not to shut down any EMS or open any new hospitals. Part of me wants to pull an Al Haig and tell everyone not to worry because 'I'm in control here.'

This is about as close as I'll come to a director's title, after all...
