A little less than a happy high
In an uncharacteristically bold move, I've volunteered to be Friday's contributor to 7shots. I'm entirely unsure of what to make of the idea, if only because I'm not sure that I'm the best choice. My creativity has been incredibly sporadic, and lord knows that I'm not the most reliable correspondent ever. Better, there were some absolutely fantastic shots posted by the last person to hold Fridays, so any reservations I had over my skills have now officially moved into the "very big shoes to fill" realm.

The benefit of a project like this is that it might nudge me into a more productive mode, and while I don't necessarily think that volume necessarily makes for better work, I could certainly use the practice. I might even pick up some tips/tricks along the way.

At any rate, I broke from the aspiration for today. Rather than find something new, the shot I posted was one I took last summer through the sunroof of my car.

Your thoughts/ideas/critique are appreciated as always...

I'm not begrudging it, just acknowledging the "we are not worthy" impulse that's pounding at my skull.

I accidentally posted this in 7Shots first...

I like the title you gave it, because it made me really look at the relationship between the two people. They are walking in step, clearly holding tight to each other, but also both looking outward and away from each other's face. It creates a feeling that they are both sure of their togetherness and willing to continue interacting with the world, like the bond creates a safe-space to start from for each of them. or, I could just be projecting like crazy...

I might have been thinking of something a bit darker...
