I have a clear sense of this, and I tend to look at goals with artificial timeframes with a bit of suspicion. It's not that I see anything wrong with having direction or moving towards something, I just view the process as a much more organic one. There are always contingencies.

I'm even more suspicious of plans that involve other people who might not be on board with them.
