A little less than a happy high
Let this be a lesson to ya
One of my co-workers fell for one of those "fell off the truck" deals yesterday. Some guy on a bike down by the Corner Mall was selling a camcorder out of a bag. He was asking for $100.

Justin gave the guy $60 and took off, hoping he wouldn’t notice that he had shorted him. When he got back to the office, he opened up the box to find not the much anticipated camcorder, but this.

That’s right, boys and girls, he bought himself a $60 brick, and he didn’t even get a whole brick.

Sounds like my trip to NYC. Except there you could see the products you were buying.

Supposedly, the box looked legitimate. The vendor even had the thing shrink-wrapped. Personally, I would have asked to check it, but as he was hoping to bamboozle the vendor, I think he got a little careless.

At least, now, he can run around shouting, "I got a BRICK!!!"

What a dumbass. I have an old computer box lying around. Let's fill it with bricks and sell it to him. "State of the art bricks! I mean, computer! $2000!"

Hell, I'll even take a short-change. :P
