My dinner in minor miracles - A little less than a happy high

My dinner in minor miracles
Last night, I was thankful for chili. This is remarkable because the night before, Drew managed to double the chili I had on hand in a very loaves-and-fishes kind of way. This means that when my guests and I plowed through half (being ALL of the chili that was on hand before this magic), there was another whole batch waiting to be consumed at my leisure. Oh, maths.

I was also thankful for the pie that appeared in a place where there had been no pie. Because pie is inherently superior to no pie, this made me happy. Apple-cranberry pie seems to have strange mystical powers, so you should keep an eye open in case one phases through time and space to find its way into your kitchen.

I made my first pie in August. It was special.

I instantly saw this quote on T-shirts, in fortune cookies, tattooed on shoulder blades, and bitterly coveted (but never successfully appropriated) by Nike.

Regarding that nun, maybe she just loved Murder in the Rue Morgue just a little too much? That's all.

In other news, AUSTIN TACOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!

I should go on a taco truck tour to save me from the horrible psychological scars left by the Sisters.

Pie-thagoreans?

Pythagoreans should kill the person who created the unholy union of "i-pi." Imaginary pie? That shit's effed up!

Can we get E-pie-curus in on this, too?

I wouldn't mind imaginary pie except that the formula that creates it in a mathematical sense begins with the assumption of not a lack of pie, but an actual deficit of pie. No good can come of that.
