This Saturday Sept 15th, is an iron pour at Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site with the Iron Guild - our 4th annual pour there! Here's the details:

Saturday September 15th, 2007 11am-3pm (raindate Sunday September 16th, 11a-3pm- please check here for cancellations)

Admission: Free and open to the public

The Iron Guild invites you to the Fourth Annual Iron Pour at Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site. Join us for the reopening of the reconstructed site that has been closed for major construction to improve exhibits and accessibility. Come watch a demonstration of iron casting techniques similar to those practiced at the Iron Works in the seventeenth century. Bring a lawn chair and picnic lunch, and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the reconstructed iron works. Kids will have the opportunity to create personalized cast iron plaques using sand molds.

They have postponed it to Sunday due to rain. Same bat time, same bat station.
