The Iron Guild invites you to the Fourth Annual Iron Pour at Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site. Join us for the reopening of the reconstructed site that has been closed for major construction to improve exhibits and accessibility. Come watch a demonstration of iron casting techniques similar to those practiced at the Iron Works in the seventeenth century. Bring a lawn chair and picnic lunch, and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the reconstructed iron works. Kids will have the opportunity to create personalized cast iron plaques using sand molds.
