	the FUTURE!
	Just to feel this out, what do you folks think about the next Iron Chef happening on Sunday Nov. 11? Failing a full roster (i.e. 4 judges, 4-6 chefs), can I instead interest you in Hong Kong Action Breakfast? Also, if you know others who aren't reading who might like to be part of this, pass word along.

I tend to give first option to cooks from last go (or Mike, since I've promised him a judge's seat he's not been able to take yet). Still, it is certainly a possibility.

given that it's hard to currently predict my energy levels i think sitting in judgment would be a safer bet. plus, it's fun! (not that cooking isn't)

I would volunteer my l33t judging skills once more, but I would gladly make room for someone who, y'know, hasn't judged twice. I'd offer to cook, but I don't know how. Perhaps there is some place of honor, some obscure title I can wear?

ooh! I loves me the iron chef!! Sadly, I dislike too many foods to be a judge.

Just wondering, can cook_ting and I compete as a deadly culinary team?? Or is it cheating to have a trained chef on board? (note, I haven't even run this by him yet... don't know for sure that he even wants to be volunteered.) In any case, I am down to just spectate and sample as in the past.

We've not enforced any sort of restrictions based on background or training. I do want to check with the other chefs to see if anyone would have an issue on a formal pair competing. I doubt it will be a problem, though, and I'd like to see you guys bring it.

While I'm sure the very fact that I'm writing this means I'll be laid up in a hospital somewhere unfamiliar on the 10th, I will be very interested in participating.

And even if there's not enough people, the Hong Kong Action B'fast is certainly something I can get behind. Or in front of. Or wherever one sits for that. But I'm in. Hi-ya.

I'd be in for cooking if it's cooking something I'm not afraid of. But I've cooked a lot, so I'd also be happy ceding to someone new, I can be just as happy spectating.

I'd love for you to reprise your role as chef, and I think the theme will be scary not for what it is, but for how broadly it could apply.

Since it looks like I have all of 2 people cooking and I should be in the announcement phase, I think I'm going to schedule HKAB instead and sling some waffles and omelets. If you're interested in contributing to that mayhem, I'd love some help.
