i have a plethera of petnames, everyone wants to call me something unique to our relationsip.
sounds like your an excellent cook. my diet consists mainly of rice and bean borritos, (cause i'm lazy). can food be an inner mirror if so what does that say about the path i'm taking.i

Heh... I do ok. I think it sounds that way because I tend to intellectualize the process the way I do most things. The whys and hows of what I put together are just as important to me as the end result.

I think that food can be a mirror, but it doesn't necessarily say all that much. For some, it may just be an indication that food is simply fuel. On the other side of the spectrum, food is a way of life. Like most things, its importance is dictated by what it means to us.

I think for me, the relationship I have to food is important on a number of levels. At the heart of things, I am a sensualist, and I find that food can be sublime. Add to that the strange lessons in deprivation I learned from my crazy aunt (mother to my Ken doll cousin) and the lean years after my parents divorce. Mix thoroughly and then add inadvertent training as a pseudo-sous chef at a country club when one of the staff walked off the job. Once you're done with all of that, you have some idea of where I stand in the spectrum.

Or perhaps that was more confusing. ::shrug:: Don't know. There'll probably be more on this later.
