A little less than a happy high
Thanks to tigermilkdrunk for making me aware that this existed.

Plans are already being made for the New England Real Ale Exhibition that will take place in Davis Square this coming Spring. I've submitted a preliminary application to volunteer, and think it would be fantastic is some of you, my fellow beer whores lovers, would join in the endeavor. Sadly, I don't think we have a man on the inside this time, so we're going to have to risk being assigned heavy lifting, pee patrol, or worse in the name of the cause (which, of course, is the acquisition of free beer.)

The volunteer form is here.

In related news, Downtown Wine and Spirits in Davis Square currently has Dogfish Head's Worldwide Stout (2002) and Cisco Brewers' Baggywrinkle Barleywine in stock. The barleywine is the same aged-in-bourbon-cask deliciousness that J.W. scored after working the Cisco Brewers table at the Winter Beerfest.

One final bit: Klae, check this out.

Current Mood: awake awake
Current Music: The freakin' "Land of the Lost" theme music

I can't get to the damn volunteer page from Dallas!

Fill one out for me? :D

And yes, once I'm rich, we're going to brewers school.

Sure, I'll just put you down for the same schedule I'm on and you can make changes later as you see fit - The sight says that future submissions under the same name overwrite those previous, and that they're not expecting a finalized schedules from folks until sometime in March(?).

Also check out the UCD program in "food engineering"... it seems to be a little more broad-based, but you can concentrate inbrewing and malting up to the PhD level.

That's incredibly terrifying.

Was it one of the intelligent, talking ones? or did he just his a lot at you and chase you down the street slowly and looking like he couldn't see where he was going?

The link to the NERAX home was screwy (it referenced a LJ subdirectory??), but everything else seems to check out. Try again?
