Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - A little less than a happy high — LiveJournal
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
I've finally managed to transcribe all of my scattered writings from my trip west. I saw many things, met a lot of very cool people, and got to spend a great deal of time reflecting on how I can be during a cross-counrty trek. I've not come even close to processing everything I experienced, and may well revisit ideas I had on the drive as I come to them. In the meantime, I thought I might amuse you with these accounts. Most were written on the morning after arriving, which will explain any variation from the previously posted itinerary. Read at your leisure.

7/10 Boston, MA
7/11 Somerville, MA
7/11 Somerville, MA
7/12 Lake Ariel, PA
7/12 State College, PA
7/14 Terre Haute, IN
7/15 Columbia, MO
7/16 Oklahoma City, OK - Fried Pie!
7/17 Albequerque, NM
7/18 Scottsdale, AZ
7/19 Sunnyvale, CA

One final note... I'm pretty sure that I managed to post to most everyone who requested a missive, but if for some reason you haven't received anything yet, smack me up side the head and I will grovel appropriately.

Bugger. I think yours was one from the Big Texan, too (though it was likely posted in CA... long story.) Hopefully it's just mail lag. :\

Wow, Somerville took two days to get through. Must've been huge! :P

And I'm quite aware that you were probably packing those days. Allow me to have my funny. Pie.
